Is 25mg the right starting dose for me?
For most men beginning daily low-dose sildenafil therapy, 25mg taken once daily at the same time is the recommended starting point per AUA 2018 guidelines — lower than the 50mg or 100mg used for as-needed dosing. Our prescribing physicians titrate up only if you do not respond adequately after two to four weeks. Because we are a 25mg-dedicated brand, every prescriber in our network is trained on low-dose-daily protocols rather than recreational high-dose patterns.
Sildenafil treats symptoms of ED. It is not a cure, and individual response varies.

Should I take it every day or only when I plan to be sexually active?
Both regimens are evidence-based; they serve different goals. Daily 25mg produces a steady plasma level and allows spontaneity, and is the protocol we default to for new patients without contraindications. As-needed dosing — taking 25mg roughly 30 to 60 minutes before activity — is appropriate if you prefer fewer pills per month. Your prescribing physician will recommend one based on your frequency, cardiovascular history, and other medications.

How long until it works, and how long does it last?
Onset typically occurs within 30 to 60 minutes of ingestion, though individual response varies and we cannot promise a specific window. Duration of effect is generally four to six hours for the 25mg dose. Daily dosing does not change the per-dose onset window but does remove the need to plan around it. We do not advertise specific erection duration or firmness figures — clinical outcomes depend on arousal, cardiovascular health, and other factors.

Does food or alcohol change the effect?
High-fat meals slow absorption and can delay onset by 30 to 60 minutes. A light meal is fine. Alcohol in moderation is generally acceptable, but two or more drinks can lower blood pressure when combined with sildenafil and reduce effectiveness. We recommend avoiding grapefruit juice, which inhibits the CYP3A4 pathway and raises serum levels unpredictably. Your prescriber will review all of this during the consult.

Approval typically takes under an hour during business days.

Will my health insurance cover this?
Via 25 is a cash-pay model priced below most insurance copays for generic sildenafil. The average retail pharmacy charges around $84 for a 30-tablet fill of 25mg; Via 25 charges $36 — about 71% less — so most patients pay less out of pocket than they would through insurance. We do not bill insurance directly. Every order generates an itemized receipt you can submit for HSA or FSA reimbursement.

Can I use HSA or FSA funds?
Yes. Checkout is HSA- and FSA-eligible. Select the HSA/FSA payment method at checkout, and we automatically generate an itemized receipt with diagnosis and product codes suitable for tax-time reimbursement. The receipt is emailed immediately after the order ships.

What information do I have to share with the doctor?
The intake covers current medications, cardiovascular history, blood pressure, and prior ED treatment. Everything is encrypted in transit and stored under HIPAA-compliant controls. The physician only sees what is needed to prescribe safely — your file is never shared with third-party advertisers, data brokers, or pharmacy benefit managers. If the physician needs clarification, they will message you through the secure portal before approving.

Is the packaging actually plain?
Yes. Outer packaging is a plain white corrugated mailer with no pharmacy name, no drug name, and no product imagery. The return address reads as a generic Phoenix fulfillment address. Inner packaging includes the pharmacy label required by U.S. pharmacy law, but that label is sealed inside the box. How fast does it arrive?
The average order-to-doorstep time across the contiguous U.S. is 2.4 business days. 86% of orders ship the same or next business day from our Phoenix compounding facility. You receive a tracking link by email once the label is created. We do not require a signature for delivery.

Do you ship to every state?
Via 25 serves 48 of the 50 U.S. states. Due to state telemedicine restrictions, we are unable to prescribe or ship to Alabama and North Dakota as of 2024. If your shipping address is in either state, checkout will block the order and direct you to an in-state provider. Residents of all other states — including D.C. — can complete a consult.

Can I redirect the package or hold it for pickup?
Standard shipments go to the address on your government ID. If you need to redirect, contact [email protected] within two hours of order placement — once the fulfillment pharmacy hands off to the carrier, the label is locked. We do not currently offer UPS Store or Walgreens pickup points; this is on the 2025 roadmap.

How does the refill cadence work?
Choose a 30-day or 90-day supply at checkout. Your card is charged when the prescription refills and ships, not on a calendar day. Each refill requires a brief re-check — a two-question pulse on side effects and any new medications — which the same prescribing physician reviews. Can I pause or cancel anytime?
Yes. Pause, skip a refill, change cadence, or cancel entirely from your account dashboard — no phone call, no retention script, no email exchange. The change applies to the next scheduled refill; any order already in fulfillment ships and is non-refundable except in cases of damage or dispensing error.

What if my dose needs to change?
Message your prescribing physician through the secure portal. Upward titration — moving from 25mg to 50mg or 100mg as-needed — is permitted on our platform if clinically appropriate; downward titration is also straightforward. Because Via 25 is built around the 25mg-daily model, most patients who titrate up do so for as-needed dosing, and we will route you to a partner pharmacy that stocks the higher strengths.

Is there a long-term contract?
No. There is no commitment beyond the current refill cycle. Cancellation is one click in the dashboard and takes effect immediately for future charges. We do not charge cancellation fees, restocking fees, or "exit" fees. If you cancel after a refill ships, that shipment is yours to keep — no return required.
